The whole day of the Church, in one quiet place.
The calendar and its fasts, the Scriptures entire, the prayer book, and an assistant grounded in the Holy Tradition of the Romanian Orthodox Church — gathered so the rhythm of the day is always within reach.

The Church has always kept the day
The feast and the fast, the psalm at its hour, the prayer on waking and on lying down. That rhythm was carried for centuries in a calendar on the wall and a prayer book by the bed. Neva Bible is an attempt to keep it within reach on a phone — without advertising, and without turning prayer into a streak to be defended.

The year of the Church, at a glance
Great feasts are marked, fast days are underlined, and any day opens to show what it holds. The month you are living in is never more than a tap away.
- Feasts and fasts, with the baseline rule for each day — fish permitted, or a strict fast with dry food
- Fast-free weeks, and short descriptions of the Great Feasts
- The Epistle and Gospel readings for the Great Feasts and the principal commemorations

The prayer book, and a way to use it
Morning and evening rules led step by step, so a rule can be kept rather than merely owned. Prayers gathered by category, the words of the Holy Fathers, and lists for those you carry.
- Guided morning and evening prayer rules
- The opening prayers, prayers to the Lord and to the Mother of God, evening prayers, prayers of repentance
- Troparia of the saints and the principal parts of the Akathist to the Annunciation
- Sayings of the Holy Fathers, and commemoration lists for the living and the departed
The Scriptures, whole
In English, the World English Bible — public domain, including the deuterocanonical books. In Romanian, the Septuagint text revised by His Eminence Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania: all 80 books. Both read without a connection.
- Bookmarks, verse sharing and a verse of the day
- Reading plans — the Psalter in 30 days, the four Gospels in 30 days
- Available offline

Ask, in two ways
Answers cite verses from the World English Bible in English, and from the Anania Bible in Romanian, and draw on the Holy Tradition of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
Pastoral
For the questions that are lived rather than studied — what to do, how to begin again, how to forgive.
Catechism
Structured explanations of dogma, the Holy Mysteries, liturgical life, and the teaching of the Holy Fathers.

Answers are generated by artificial intelligence and can be mistaken. They do not replace the counsel of your spiritual father or of a doctor. Confession and spiritual direction belong with your priest.
Neva Bible Pro
Scripture, the calendar, the prayer book, commemoration lists and name days are free. A Neva Bible Pro subscription, monthly or annual, through Google Play, adds:
- 200 questions a day to the assistant, instead of 5 on the Free plan
- Audio narration, on demand, of the prayers and of the assistant’s answers
- The daily reflection — a short meditation on the verse of the day
- Cloud sync of your bookmarks, favourite prayers and commemoration lists
The price that applies to you is always the one shown in the app and on Google Play before you confirm payment. The full conditions, including your 14-day right of withdrawal, are in the Terms of Service, section 5.
Made to be kept, not performed
Three choices that shape how the app behaves.
No advertising
Nothing is sold between you and the text. No banners beside a psalm, and no sponsor inside a prayer.
No tracking
No advertising pixels and no behavioural analytics. We do not sell personal data. What you read and what you pray is not a profile.
Quiet by default
A rule you can mark, a plan you can follow — without streaks to lose or a notification that scolds you for the day you missed.
Privacy
On the Free plan, your bookmarks, favourite prayers and commemoration lists stay on your phone only. With Neva Bible Pro they are synchronised to your account, on servers in Frankfurt, so you find them again after a reinstall or on another phone. Your conversation history with the assistant stays on your phone, except for the answers you choose to report; your questions are sent to OpenAI for processing, without your email address. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.
Questions
What is Neva Bible?
An Orthodox companion that gathers the Church’s calendar, the full Scriptures, a prayer book and an assistant into one place. The app works in English and in Romanian.
Which translation do you use?
The World English Bible in English, including the Deuterocanon; in Romanian, the version of His Eminence Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania after the Septuagint.
Whose tradition does it follow?
The Holy Tradition of the Romanian Orthodox Church, including its calendar, its fasts and its prayer book.
Is it free?
The Bible, the calendar, the prayer book, commemoration lists and name days are free, and so are five questions a day to the assistant. Neva Bible Pro is a subscription; the price shown by Google Play before you confirm is the binding one.
Does it work without a connection?
Mostly. Scripture, the calendar, the prayers, commemoration lists and name days work offline. Signing in, the assistant, the daily reflection and audio narration need a connection.
Does the assistant replace a priest?
No, and it does not try to. It is anchored in Holy Tradition and cites Scripture, but it is generated by artificial intelligence and can be mistaken. Confession and spiritual direction belong with your priest.
Who makes it?
IMPERICORP X SRL, a software company in Bucharest, Romania.
