Neva Bible is developed and published by IMPERICORP X SRL, Bucharest, Romania, which is also the controller of your data.
You can delete your Neva Bible account and the data associated with it at any time — from inside the app or, if you have already uninstalled it, by email. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
The quick way — from inside the app
If you still have the app installed and you are signed in, this is the most direct route. You need an internet connection.
- Open Neva Bible on the Today screen.
- Tap the Settings icon (the gear, top right).
- Scroll to the very bottom of Settings, to the DELETE ACCOUNT section.
- Tap Delete account, then Continue, then confirm once more with Delete account.
The account is deleted from our servers immediately. The app then removes your account’s data from the phone, cancels your name-day notifications and signs you out.
If you signed in with Google and the app shows you the One more step screen, tap Delete account at the bottom of that screen, then Continue, then confirm once more with Delete account.
Want to delete only your synced data, not the account? Withdraw your consent to the processing of what you write by writing to contact@impericorp.com from your account’s email address: within one month at most, your synced bookmarks, favourite prayers and prayer lists are deleted from our servers and stay on your phone, and the account stays. Your Google Play subscription is not cancelled automatically. The details are in the Privacy Policy, §2.1.
If you have already uninstalled the app
Send an email from the address you created the account with (this is how we confirm you are the account holder) — if you signed in with Google, from the address of that Google account — to:
contact@impericorp.com — subject: “Neva Bible account deletion request”
If you no longer have access to that address, write to us from another one and include the account’s address; we will contact you to verify that you are the account holder.
We process the request within 30 days at the latest and confirm by email once it is complete. In practice it takes far less.
A deletion by request removes your data from our servers. We cannot reach data kept on a phone: if the app is still installed on any device, sign out of it or uninstall it to remove the local copies as well.
What is deleted
From our servers (Supabase, Frankfurt), permanently, with no possibility of recovery:
- your account: email address, password (stored encrypted), display name, date of birth and, if you signed in with Google, the data received from Google (your Google account identifier, name and profile photo address);
- your sign-in sessions (the IP address and device type you signed in from);
- your subscription status, the record of Google Play purchases linked to your account and the record of the purchase confirmation emails sent;
- your usage counters (questions, narration, reflection);
- your synchronised bookmarks, favourite prayers and commemoration lists (if you had Neva Bible Pro);
- the reports you sent about the assistant’s answers and about the daily reflection, with the reported question and answer, or verse and reflection;
- the record of your consent to the processing of religious data.
From your phone, when you delete the account in the app:
- your conversation history with the assistant;
- your bookmarks and favourite prayers;
- your commemoration lists (pomelnice);
- the name days you follow (and their notifications are cancelled);
- your reading plan and prayer rule progress;
- any temporary audio file of a narrated answer.
Phone preferences — theme, text size, language and notification times — are not part of your account and stay on the device until the app is uninstalled.
What is kept after deletion
| Data | Where | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Payment transaction data for the Pro subscription, together with the account identifier attached to the purchase | Google Play (the merchant of record) | Under Google’s policies; our servers keep no record of your payments |
| Tokens of refunded or replaced Google Play purchases, not linked to your account | Our servers (Supabase, Frankfurt) | No fixed term, so that a refunded or replaced subscription cannot be activated again |
| The log of processed refunds and the log of Google Play notifications, not linked to your account | Our servers (Supabase, Frankfurt) | Deleted automatically after 90 days |
| Questions sent to the assistant and texts you asked to hear (Pro) | OpenAI | A maximum of 30 days, then deleted automatically, unless the law requires longer retention or it is needed to protect against abuse |
| The entries about your account (including its deletion) in the authentication audit log, with your email address and IP address | Supabase (Frankfurt) | Until they reach 90 days, then deleted automatically |
| Technical logs of the requests sent to Supabase (IP address, timestamp, response code) | Supabase (Frankfurt) | A maximum of 7 days |
| Deleted data, in the database backups | Supabase (Frankfurt) | None remains: the Supabase plan we use does not include automatic backups that we can access |
| Error reports and performance data (device model, user identifier — not your email address and not your IP address) | Sentry (EU) | Deleted automatically after 30 days; from Sentry’s backups, 90 days after the backup was created |
| Logs of the requests sent to our server | Cloudflare | Not stored: the server’s logs are switched off |
| Account confirmation, password reset or purchase confirmation emails already sent and their delivery logs | Resend (USA) | Deleted after 30 days; from Resend’s backups, within at most a further 7 days |
| The data received when the app checks for updates (IP address, a random installation identifier, not linked to your account) | Expo (USA) | Under Expo’s policy |
Full details in the Privacy Policy, section 4 (how long we keep data) and section 5.3 (right to erasure).
Your Pro subscription
Important: deleting your account does not cancel your subscription on Google Play. Subscriptions are managed by Google Play, not by us. Cancel it first in Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, otherwise automatic renewal continues and you will keep being charged.
