I never received the confirmation email or the password reset code
Check your Spam or Promotions folder. The password reset code has 6 digits and expires after a while — if it has expired, request a new one. If the confirmation email still does not arrive, email us from the address you tried to register with and we can confirm your account manually.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Google Play, not by us. Open Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, select Neva Bible and tap Cancel subscription, before the renewal date. From inside the app you can also get there through Settings → SUBSCRIPTION → Manage subscription. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Can I get a refund?
You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion (the day you bought the subscription), without giving a reason; we then refund everything you paid, within 14 days at the latest, through Google Play. Write to us at contact@impericorp.com — you may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory — or request the refund through Google Play → Orders & subscriptions. Details in the Terms of Service, section 5.4.
I paid, but the app still says “Free”
Do not pay a second time. Open Settings → SUBSCRIPTION → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Google account you paid with. If the app tells you the purchase is tied to a different Neva Bible account, sign in with that account. If it still does not activate, email us and include the email address of the Google account you paid with.
Are the assistant’s answers doctrinally reliable?
The assistant is grounded in Holy Tradition and cites verses from Scripture, but it is generated by artificial intelligence and can be wrong. It does not replace your spiritual father. If an answer looks wrong to you, tap Report this answer beneath it (or press and hold the answer) and choose a reason — we read every one. A report sends us that question and answer; see the Privacy Policy, section 1.2.
Can I use the app offline?
Mostly, yes. Scripture, the calendar, the prayers, the commemoration lists and name days work offline. Signing in, the assistant, the daily reflection and audio narration need a connection.
How do I delete my account?
From Settings → DELETE ACCOUNT → Delete account (at the very bottom of Settings), or see the dedicated page if you have already uninstalled the app.
If you are going through a hard time
This app is not an emergency service. If you are thinking of harming yourself, you are in crisis, or someone is in immediate danger, call 112 now (the emergency number across the EU, free from any fixed or mobile phone) or your local emergency number.
Support lines in Romania:
- 116 123 — the emotional-support and suicide-prevention line, operated by Direcția Generală de Asistență Socială a Municipiului București (DGASMB, the Bucharest General Directorate for Social Assistance). 24/7, free.
- 0374 456 420 — depreHUB, if you need to talk to someone: emotional and psychological support from volunteers, psychology students and psychologists — active listening and referral, in calls of up to 30 minutes. It is not therapy and not an emergency intervention service. It answers at any hour of the day or night. According to the operator, the service is free; the call may be charged as a call to a national number, depending on your plan (it is not an 0800 freephone number). Operated by DEPREHUB HOLISTIC SOLUTIONS SRL, a private company.
- 0800 801 200 — TelVerde Antisuicid, for suicidal thoughts. It answers only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 19:00 until 07:00 the following morning. Free from the main fixed and mobile networks; it does not take calls from hidden numbers.
- 0800 500 333 — Helpline ANES, for domestic violence and human trafficking. 24/7, free.
- 119 — for reporting abuse, neglect, exploitation or violence against a child. 24/7, free.
- 116 111 — Telefonul Copilului, a helpline for children and adolescents. Monday to Friday, 10:00–20:00; free on the Orange, Telekom and Vodafone networks.
- 0800 460 001 — Telefonul Vârstnicului, information, social counselling and emotional support for older people (not a crisis line). Monday to Friday, 08:00–20:00, and Saturday, 08:00–16:00; free.
- 0800 800 099 — Joc Responsabil, for gambling problems. Free.
